The Opportunity

The Project Manager role offers the chance to engage directly with clients while supporting a team that includes a project engineer, CAD designer, and closely collaborating with our permit coordinator. Projects are typically commercial and range in size from under 1 to 5 acres.

Work Location: In-person (Raleigh, NC office)

The qualified candidate will:

• Have experience managing and guiding commercial developments through the site development and civil engineering processes
• Develop project plans including but not limited to goal, strategy, identification of risk, scheduling, budget, allotment of resources, analysis of development alternatives and communicate with team
• Responsible for managing multiple projects while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction
• Communicate to team and customers on status of projects
• Provide day-to-day guidance for projects’ activities
• Identify and solve projects’ challenges with team members
• Evaluate resources, monitor schedules and workflow
• Write proposals for leads and existing clients
• Maintain and build client relationships
• May travel to construction sites to assist with project needs

Qualifications

• College degree in related field of study
• Minimum 5 years of land planning, civil engineering, or related experience
• Experience working with city officials and guiding projects through the permitting and review process
• Excellent communication, presentation, writing, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, creativity, and mature judgement
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment
• Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
